About Spark Wrestling

My name is Seth Ciasulli, I built the Spark Wrestling YouTube channel in an effort to educate the masses on this great sport of wrestling. I'm building this website to more accurately catalog, categorize, and organize all of the wrestling related video content that I have released over the years. Especially the Lesson Plan, which details an entire blueprint on how to teach technique in a wrestling room to get the most out of your wrestlers.

My Experience With Wrestling

Owned & coached the Red Hawk Wrestling Club for 8 years, gave private lessons for 18 (~15 per week). My main goal was to create college level wrestlers at a young age. Focused deeply on improvement, not results. This helped create 100+ state placers and 25+ state champs in the 8 years I ran Red Hawk. Averaged 20+ PA state placers and 3-5 champs per year.

Nathan Desmond (my nephew), Tyler Kasak, Kollin Rath, Keanu Dillard, Collin Gaj were my students for ~7 years, all top 5 in the nation in high school (end of 2023). Super proud of them and everyone else I coached. You may be very aware of Tyler Kasak, who wrestles at Penn State now and is ranked #1 in the country (as of 2025).

My son was born in 2021, I took a normal 9-5 in order to give him a more normal childhood with a present father. Running a super successful wrestling club in the Lehigh Valley requires you to be away every night and most weekends. I didn't want to do that to my family, but when he's of age, I'll be getting back into it to help him through the journey.

Started wrestling at 7, grew up at RHWC, wrestled through college. State champ before high school, won Eastern Nationals (MAWA) & Ohio ToC, Tulsa runner-up. Went to Easton Area High School. Placed 2nd, 2nd, 3rd at PIAA states (AAA), won Reno ToC 3 times +OW, top 5 in the nation individually. Attended Lehigh University: EIWA 1st, 4xNCAA qualifier, reached round of 12. Ranked as high as #6 in the nation.

Though I feel like I never reached my full potential with my own wrestling career, for many reasons that I have identified, I'm happy to see my students surpass any and all of my own personal accomplishments.
